Job Description

Overview The Parenting Time Supervisor facilitates, and monitors visits, exchanges, calls or zoom meetings. After intake a schedule is set, an introductory email is sent to the parties which will include the assigned supervisor. Parenting Time Supervisors communicate with families and submit detailed reports in a timely manner. This is an at will position in which families are handed out based on availability and fit for the Supervisor and the family. We offer services for the following situations: Divorce/Separation and the resulting concerns regarding custody and parenting time. Allegations of or validated cases of domestic abuse and child abuse/neglect. County referrals from Child Protective Services (CPS)
Role:
In your role as a Community/Center Supervised Parenting Time, you will be interacting with families by facilitating the parenting time and supervising the interactions between the parents and their Child/children. Responsibilities Supervision of non-residential parents with their child or children for a pre-determined amount of time at an agreed upon location. Supervising an Exchange of a child or children at a pre-determined location and an agreed upon time. With parents or their appropriate family members. Must be approved by a written agreement or court order. Monitoring voice or video calls between nonresidential parents and their child or children, recording these calls then submitting the recordings. Communication via email and cell phone with client families, while being aware of court orders in place regarding residential and nonresidential parent communication. Any communication via email/cell phone with clients, ensuring that steps are taken in conjunction with court orders/OFP/DANCO/HNCO that we either communicate via separately with each parent or if there are no restrictions communicating together. Strict adherence to time schedules, if there is a need to change the scheduled time, it is the supervisor's responsibility to change the details with the family and then notify the Admin Assistant and the CEO so they can change the main calendar in Outlook. The Supervisor must note any communication with the parties and who initiated the change via written communication that both parties agree. Place the communication in the communication folder in the Open cases folder for that family. Detailed typed reports will need to be written and submitted within three days for each Supervised visit/exchange/cancelation or any other interaction that requires reports. These reports need to be submitted through Microsoft office. Reports must be

written , no summary, conclusions, opinions or comments. Maintain awareness of family details, orders and sustain a positive client relation. The Supervisor must be respectful to the families, while understanding the hardships they are enduring. Be sure to maintain boundaries. Do not promise anything, do not share too much information, do not do tasks for them. Do not parent the children. DO not give legal advice, Do not answer questions. Attend ACF meeting and communicate regularly with Chris. Adhere to ALL ACF Policy, Procedure, and Guidelines. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old High school graduate, associate degree or higher Personal cell phone Personal transportation and driver's license valid insurance and proof of that insurance Personal computer capable of Zoom video calls Experience working with families and children Ability to positively interact with others in a professional manner Ability to be flexible Able to self-motivate and complete tasks and communicate within given time frame Ability to manage your time. Time management is key Ability to maintain focus and awareness during confusing or chaotic situations Ability to communicate effectively Have no conviction of child molestation, child abuse, or other crimes relating to children Have no conviction of a violent crime and/or on probation or parole Have had no civil or criminal restraining order issued against him or her Have no conviction of driving (moving violations) including DUI Have no current or past court order in which the provider is the person being supervised Must be able to handle difficult situations Must be able to work with diverse peoples and backgrounds Ability to maintain focus and awareness during confusing or chaotic situations Ability to enforce policies and procedures with difficult/challenging clients Typing and Microsoft word proficient Be adequately trained to provide the supervised visitation services offered by the provider.
Pay:
$18.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 2.0 - 15.0 per week
