e2112-37013 Job Description Make a meaningful impact by supporting a young learner as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) in a dynamic educational setting near Antioch, TN. This full-time, on-site position is a contract role, ideal for travel professionals eager to make a difference. Youll work 1:1 with a pediatric student, designing and adapting educational materials and strategies to foster growth and independence throughout the school year.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelors Degree (B.A.) required Current valid state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Strong knowledge of assistive technology for visually impaired students Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, therapists, and families Excellent communication, organization, and advocacy skills

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized instruction and support to a student with visual impairments, ensuring full access to curriculum and activities Assess and monitor the students progress, adapting strategies and tools as needed Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) in coordination with the school team Provide training and resources to teachers and staff on best practices for inclusivity and accessibility Employ creative problem-solving to overcome barriers to learning and participation
