The UCLA Police Department (UCPD) is a university law enforcement agency dedicated to serving the diverse UCLA campus community, including faculty, staff, students, and visitors. Operating within a complex higher education environment, UCPD is responsible for maintaining public safety, preventing crime, and investigating criminal activity across campus physical structures, roadways, and designated jurisdictional areas. The department operates under University-wide Police Policies and Administrative Procedures. It utilizes advanced law enforcement tools, relational databases, and local, state, and federal intelligence networks (such as NCIC, CLETS, JDIC, and NIBRS) to support its operations. Through collaborative divisions, including Investigations, Patrol, and Crime Analysis, UCPD integrates data-driven intelligence and community outreach to optimize patrol deployment, enhance crime prevention strategies, and ensure a safe campus environment.

The UCLA Police Department is seeking an analytical, detail-oriented Crime and Intelligence Analyst to serve as a key partner to our law enforcement team.
