The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a cleared Digital Forensic Examiner.
Responsibilities:
Conduct forensic examinations involving the collection, processing, analysis, interpretation, and preservation of digital evidence. Examine digital devices and media in support of network vulnerability mitigation, intelligence operations, and investigative requirements. Utilize forensic tools such as Cellebrite, EnCase, Axiom, XRY, FTK, and X-Ways to perform examinations and extract relevant evidence. Analyze complex and large data sets to identify relevant findings, artifacts, and investigative leads. Identify and assess steganography and encryption techniques, including detection and analysis methods. Document forensic processes, findings, and conclusions in technical reports and case documentation. Support technical discussions and provide input on forensic findings, methodologies, and recommendations. Use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook to prepare products, communicate findings, and support mission execution. Support the management and leadership of DNA lab personnel and procedures, as required.
Qualifications:
Active
TS/SCI. 8
years of experience in Digital Forensics and/or Electronic Engineering. Physical ability and commitment to global deployment for 6-month rotations . Expertise in electronic schematic design and interpretation. Proficiency in identifying electronic components and characterizing circuits. Mastery of laboratory benchtop equipment (Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, etc.). Solid understanding of RF communications and standard RF measurements.
Desired:
BSE in Electrical Engineering Familiarity with IED and/or UXS techniques, tactics, and procedures (TTP) Experience collaborating with military organizations, such as EOD units Background in CELLEX, DOMEX, and MEDEX forensics Hands-on experience with IED/UAS electronics Understanding of programming languages
