Job Description
Prevention and Training Services LLC (PATS) is seeking a compassionate and reliable male Drug Testing Technician to join our team. If you are interested in the recovery field and want to make a meaningful impact, we encourage you to apply. This full-time position is based at our 252 S. Waverly location in Lansing. What You'll Do Enroll new clients and enter information into the system Document client appearance and record payment methods Conduct and monitor urine and oral drug/alcohol testing for male clients (male technicians must observe male clients) in compliance with all laws and regulations Accurately record test results and distribute reports as required Maintain strict confidentiality and professional integrity Answer phones and assist with general office duties Manage and restock inventory Communicate with referring agencies, law enforcement, and court representatives as needed Requirements Must be 18 years or older Must pass a drug screening and criminal background check Must be willing to sign confidentiality agreements and follow privacy policies Must not currently be on pre-trial, probation, or parole What We're Looking For Strong reliability and punctuality (appointments are court-mandated) Ability to stay organized and maintain a clean workspace Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse populations Calm, professional demeanor in challenging situations Excellent communication and attention to detail Interest in criminal justice, the legal system, and/or recovery services About Us PATS has proudly served the Lansing community for 28 years.
