ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is a supervisory position in the OIG Management and Resources Division, reporting to the Assistant Inspector General for Management and Resources. The incumbent supervises a team of forensic da analysts responsible for OIG fraud analytics, business analytics, IT support to OIG, and the OIG corpore management system. Proactive fraud analytic projects include identifying potential violions of law and recognizing lent trends th lead to fraud detection using da science and analytic tools and capabilities. Results are provided to the separe OIG investigion, audit, and evaluion divisions through da analytics models with dashboard views. Business analytics projects include using stistical research methods and exploiting various software products and artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze historical da to gain new insight and improve stregic decision-making within OIG. Meaningful results derived from the analysis are portrayed through dynamic informion graphics accurely depicting the story and allowing the decision-maker to easily understand wh the da is telling them. The OIG Supervisory Forensic Da Analyst is also responsible for leading the collaborion with the other NGA OIG divisions to improve da collection, loading, validion and reconciliion, analysis, and reporting. They lead the preparion of reports and briefings th provide a sound basis for the restitution and recovery of NGA funds and oversee the collaborion with division experts to develop metrics th drive process improvements. You must be able to obtain and retain a Top Secret security clearance with access to SCI. In addition, you are subject to a Counterintelligence Polygraph examinion in order to maintain access to Top Secret informion. All employees are subject to a periodic examinion on a random basis in order to determine continued eligibility. Refusal to take the examinion may result in denial of access to Top Secret informion, SAP, or unescorted access to SCIFs. Employees with SCI access and who are under NGA cognizance are required to submit a Security Financial Disclosure Report, SF-714, on an annual basis in order to determine continued eligibility. Failure to comply may negively impact continued access to Top Secret informion, Informion Systems, SAP, or unescorted access to SCIFs. NGA utilizes all processes and procedures of the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Non-executive NGA employees are assigned to five distinct pay bands based on the type and scope of work performed. The employee's base salary is established within their assigned pay band based on their unique qualificions. A performance pay process is conducted each year to determine a potential base pay salary increase and/or bonus. An employee's annual performance evaluion is a key factor in the performance pay process. This position is a DCIPS position in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1601. A.Educion:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Business Administrion, Computer Science, Criminal Justice, Criminology, Mhemics, Police Science, Stistics, or a reled field.- OR•B.
Combinion of Educion and Experience:
A minimum of 24 semester (36 quarter) hours of coursework in any area listed in option A, plus experience in qualitive and quantitive analysis or a reled area th demonstres the ability to successfully perform the duties associed with this work. As a rule, every 30 semester (45 quarter) hours of coursework is equivalent to one year of experience. Candides should show th their combinion of educion and experience totals to 4 years.- OR•C.
Experience:
A minimum of 4 years of experience in qualitive and quantitive analysis or a reled area th demonstres the ability to successfully perform the duties associed with this work.DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION CRITERIA
In addition to the mandory qualificions, experience in the following is desired: 1. Software experience in Tableau, Python, SQL, advanced Excel, Power Shell, Power Script, and/or AI computing. 2. Possess an active professional certificion in fraud examinion, such as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or an equivalent accredited professional credential. 3. Knowledge of implementing and using AI to enhance workflows, processes, and/or procedures. 4. Knowledge of CIGIE policies and standards, or experience working in an Inspector General office. 5. Possess an active Project Management Professional (PMP) certificion, or an equivalent accredited project management credential.
