About Us Texas Triggers USA is a fast-growing company in the firearms industry, focused on innovation, performance, and real-world testing of advanced trigger systems and firearm components. We are not just a manufacturing shop; we are a hands-on development team that designs, builds, and tests products in-house to ensure reliability and performance under real conditions. Our team works directly with firearms every day, turning ideas into functioning systems through machining, gunsmithing, testing, and continuous improvement. Position Overview The Gunsmith / Firearm Technician will be a hands-on, hybrid role that blends gunsmithing, manufacturing, and real-world firearm testing. While production and finishing work will make up a large portion of the role, this position also involves direct work with firearms, troubleshooting function, and contributing to product development. Key Responsibilities Perform hands-on manufacturing and finishing of firearm components Grind, file, polish, and fit parts to precise tolerances Cut, mill, and modify components using shop tools and machinery Bend wire, shape small parts, and perform detailed mechanical work Operate finishing processes such as tumbling, deburring, and surface prep Work with shop chemicals (cleaning agents, coatings, etc.) safely and effectively Assemble and install FRT systems and related components Inspect, troubleshoot, and ensure reliability of completed parts and builds Conduct frequent live-fire testing of rifles and systems Check in and check out firearms for internal use and testing Support production across departments to meet deadlines Assist customers with troubleshooting via email when needed Travel with the team to gun shows, testing events, and industry functions Participate in product demonstrations, testing, and social media content Required Qualifications Extensive experience working with firearms (gunsmithing or equivalent hands-on experience) Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Experience with installation, fitting, and troubleshooting firearm components Comfortable using shop tools, hand tools, and light machinery Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt quickly Additional Requirements Comfortable working around firearms and firearm components daily Comfortable handling and shooting firearms frequently for testing Comfortable interacting with customers and providing technical support Comfortable being on camera for social media and promotional content Willingness to travel frequently for gun shows and industry events Carrying on the job is optional but encouraged Preferred (Not Required) Formal gunsmithing training or certification Experience working with AK, AR, and pistol platforms Familiarity with trigger systems and performance modifications Experience in a manufacturing or production environment Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities available Opportunity for growth within a rapidly expanding company
