Job Description

This is responsible administrative work involving the investigation of employee misconduct and personnel complaints. Jurisdiction Starting Salary Range City of Mobile $66,410 - $82,937 Minimum Qualification Requirements Attainment of a minimum of a bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university in criminal justice, business, public administration, education, law, communication, human resources, or related field; a minimum of ten years of responsible, lead-level investigative experience from criminal, administrative and or personnel suitability assessments, including policy development, implementation, and training; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements. Special Requirement Must not possess a criminal record or, if one exists, it must be fully mitigated during background interview. Must meet basic internal affairs course requirements sponsored by OPR within first year of employment. Must possess a valid driver's license from the state of residence.
