POSITION TITLE
Student Information Systems (SIS) Support Specialist I
STATUS:
8-hours per day, 260-days; Non-Exempt

REPORTS TO:
Director of Data & Student Information An Student Information Systems (SIS) Support Specialist I provides student information systems support for employees, parents, and students. Candidates should have a mix of technical and customer service skills, and be passionate about helping people. Fox C-6 utilizes Infinite Campus and Spedtrack for student information services. Previous experience preferred, but not required.
Basic Function/Responsibilities:
Aid in the day-to-day operations of the Student Information System (SIS) and serve as a technical point of contact. Provide technical assistance and support for data system users (staff, students and parents) via telephone and email. Assist in creation of user accounts, management of passwords, and establishment of permissions within the SIS System. Support school and district web-based applications, including online enrollment and data verification. Train district personnel on utilizing the SIS, including other supporting data systems and applications. Aid in the development of data connections and sharing rules between the SIS and external educational software vendors. Other duties as assigned.
