Private Investigator - Criminal Defense (Part-Time / As-Needed) The Law Office of Roberta A. Robinson, LLC — LaGrange, GA Contract / as-needed The Law Office of Roberta A. Robinson is a notable criminal defense practice based in LaGrange, handling serious and complex felony cases across Troup, Coweta, Carroll, Meriwether, and the surrounding circuits. The caseload includes murder, rape, child abuse, aggravated assault, and drug trafficking, many of them tried to verdict by Ms. Robinson. The firm is seeking a licensed private investigator to work directly with the attorney hands on in trial preparation. The work Review and challenge the State's discovery: identify gaps, inconsistencies, and what wasn't collected Find and secure evidence the prosecution overlooked: physical, digital, and testimonial Locate and interview witnesses; produce statements usable at trial Investigate scenes: photograph, measure, time, and document Obtain and review records: 911 audio, body-cam, phone, medical, social media Serve subpoenas; testify and withstand cross-examination Report directly to the attorney, in writing, on deadline Requirements Georgia private detective license, or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire Working knowledge of Georgia criminal procedure, or the ability to learn it quickly Comfort working on violent, sexual, and child-victim cases. Pay:

From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 1.0 - 20.0 per week Application Question(s): Do you currently hold a Georgia private detective license, or meet the state's eligibility requirements to obtain one (two years investigative/law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree)? Are you comfortable working on cases involving murder, sexual assault, and child abuse, including reviewing graphic evidence and interviewing hostile witnesses?
