Volunteers play an important role in enriching student experiences and strengthening connections between our schools and communities. Volunteer opportunities vary based on school and District needs, individual interests and skills, and the nature of the activity. Submission of a volunteer application does not guarantee placement or assignment. School District volunteers are expected to: Support a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for students and staff Follow all applicable District policies, procedures, and staff directions Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with students Protect the confidentiality and privacy of students, employees, and families Be dependable and communicate promptly regarding availability Perform only those duties authorized by the District or supervising employee Immediately report safety concerns or other concerns involving students to the appropriate District employee Serve as positive representatives of the school and District
