Lunch Aide (Non-Union, Hourly Position)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to join our team as a Lunch Aide. This position plays a vital role in ensuring a safe, clean, and positive environment for students during lunch periods.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise students in the cafeteria during lunch waves to ensure a safe and respectful environment. Monitor student behavior and encourage positive social interactions. Assist with light clean-up duties between lunch waves (including wiping tables). Support school staff in maintaining order and cleanliness in the cafeteria. Respond to minor student needs and escalate issues to appropriate personnel when necessary.
Qualifications:
Enjoy working with children and maintaining a positive, respectful demeanor. Ability to stand and move around for extended periods. Dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions. Previous experience in a school or childcare setting is a plus, but not required.
