  • 5.0 Fort Myers, FL Job Details Part-time $15 an hour 22 hours ago Qualifications Experience working with middle schoolers Experience working with elementary school students Full Job Description Our Extended Care program serves students in PK3 through 8th grade , providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment after the school day ends. Schedule
  • Monday-Friday
  • Approximately 2:45 p.m.
  • 5:45/6:00 p.m.
  • We guarantee a minimum of 3 hours of pay per shift.
  • Flexible scheduling is available if you are unable to work every weekday.
  • On school closing days or half days (when students are out but Extended Care remains open), additional hours are available. Extended Care operates either Noon
  • 6:00pm or 7:00 a.m.
  • 6:00 p.m. on those days. Pay
  • Starting pay: $15.00 per hour on regular school days
  • Minimum of 3 paid hours per scheduled shift Responsibilities
  • Supervise children in a safe and caring environment.
  • Lead games, crafts, and age-appropriate activities.
  • Assist with homework supervision as needed.
  • Maintain appropriate student behavior using positive guidance techniques.
  • Communicate professionally with parents and school staff.
  • Help ensure classrooms and activity areas remain clean and organized.
  • Follow all school safety procedures and policies. Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Experience working with children is preferred but not required.
  • Must enjoy working with children from PK3 through 8th grade.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
  • Must be comfortable working in a Christian school environment and support the mission and values of St. Michael Lutheran Church & School.

  • Ability to actively supervise children indoors and outdoors.
  • Frequently walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach.
  • Occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
