Job Description

JOB School Crossing Guards play an important role in helping children cross their assigned and marked crosswalk safely, both to and from school.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES

Arrive at their assigned position in a timely manner. Have all issued and required equipment ready to be used. Stop traffic as natural "gaps" appear. Keep traffic stopped and continually observe the crosswalk and surrounding area for hazards before, during and after children cross. Report any Hazards, Reckless Driving or Safety violations to their supervisor when it is safe to do so. Perform related work as required.
