THE SCHOOL BOARD OF HIGHLANDS COUNTY POSITION TITLE
Monitor
ASSIGNMENT
Monitor•Lunchroom, Campus, Study Hall
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A high school diploma or equivalent Demonstrated skill in using materials, equipment, and procedures associated with the performance of duties in the specific position Satisfactory clearance of a criminal history records check and drug screening Physical requrements to perform essential functions and tasks which may include exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 pounds of force as frequently as necessary; lifting, crawling, kneeling, bending, stooping, pulling, and pushing, if required; prolonged standing also required

PRIMARY PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitors will be used to monitor students furing the assigned duty
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
Other duties as assigned by the supervising administrator
TERM:
Length of employment period and number of hours worked are determined by specific allocations as approved annually during planning-budgeting process
APPRAISAL
Performance will be appraised in accordance with School Board policies
PAY GRADE
Based upon miscellaneous salary schedule
