Overview We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Campus Monitor to ensure the safety and security of our school community. In this vital role, you will oversee student supervision, enforce school policies, and promote a positive atmosphere on campus. Your proactive approach will help create a secure environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Duties Supervise students during school hours, including arrival, dismissal, lunch, recess, and special events, ensuring their safety at all times Enforce school policies and procedures consistently while maintaining a respectful and positive environment Manage behavior and implement behavior management strategies for students with special needs or behavioral challenges Respond promptly to incidents or conflicts, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations effectively Communicate regularly with parents regarding student behavior or safety concerns in a professional manner Support students with physical disabilities or special education needs by adhering to individualized plans and accommodations Conduct safety drills, including evacuation procedures, to ensure preparedness for emergencies Requirements Prior experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred Knowledge of school policies, safety regulations, and emergency procedures such as evacuation protocols Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; ability to administer basic first aid when necessary Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, parents, and emergency responders Experience working with students with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally Familiarity with behavior management techniques and student discipline strategies Physical ability to supervise outdoor activities and respond quickly in emergency situations Join us in making a difference by creating a safe, supportive environment where every student can succeed!
Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
