Get Directions Job Summary:
Join our team as a Lunch/Recess Supervisor and help create a safe and organized lunchtime environment for our elementary school students! We are looking for a dependable and mature individual who can manage and support students during their lunch period.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Organizing students into orderly lines for entering the lunchroom. Monitoring student behavior and assisting younger students as needed. Ensuring a clean and safe environment in the lunchroom and playground. Addressing any potential issues promptly to maintain student safety. Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Working Hours:
Monday -
Friday:
10:50 am - 1:15 pm
Hourly Rate:
Starting at $15.60/hour
Qualifications:
Dependable and mature individual. Ability to manage and interact positively with elementary-aged students. Awareness of safety protocols in a school environment. Capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Typical Working Conditions for
Lunch Aide:
Indoor and Outdoor Environments:
Supervision will take place both inside the lunchroom and outside on the playground.
Weather Exposure:
Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including cold, hot temperatures, rain, snow, and wind.
Physical Activity:
Standing, walking, and actively monitoring students throughout the lunch and recess periods.
Noise Levels:
Moderate to high noise levels due to student activity.
Interaction:
Frequent interaction with students, teachers, and other school staff.
Safety Awareness:
Constant vigilance to ensure student safety and address any potential issues promptly.
