$16.50 per hour
Hours:
Monday-Friday, 10:30am - 1:30pm (3 hours per day)

Join a dedicated team in Evanston, IL, as a Student Supervisor for the 2026-2027 school year and help create a safe, engaging environment for students every day. As a Student Supervisor, you'll oversee lunchroom and playground activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of students while fostering a positive atmosphere. You'll work closely with school staff to implement routines that promote order, safety, and fun. What You'll Do As a Student Supervisor, you will be responsible for: Supervising students during lunch and recess, ensuring safe behavior inside the cafeteria, gym, or playground. Assisting with lunchroom procedures like sanitizing tables, managing trash, and supporting recycling efforts. Administering basic first aid when needed, using good judgment to address health concerns promptly. Encouraging group participation by engaging students in games and activities. Enforcing positive discipline policies to maintain order and promote respectful interactions. Performing other related duties to ensure smooth daily operations and a safe environment for all students. What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have: High school diploma or equivalent. Work experience with children (preferred but not required). Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with diverse groups. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle interruptions with professionalism.
