Pay & Schedule $20.00 per 30-minute shift $40.00 per day when working both shifts 30 minutes before school and 30 minutes after school Monday-Friday on school days only Just 1 hour of work per day As a School Crossing Guard, you'll play an important role in helping local students safely travel to and from school while becoming a familiar and positive presence in the Glencoe community. What You'll Do Safely assist students and pedestrians at designated crossings Monitor traffic and help maintain safe crossing conditions Remain alert and attentive throughout your assigned shift Communicate professionally with students, families, school staff, and drivers Follow ACMS safety procedures and training guidelines What We're Looking For Must be at least 18 years old Reliable and punctual Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Able to stand throughout scheduled shifts Strong communication and observation skills Because shifts are only 30 minutes before and after school, candidates who live in or near Glencoe may be especially well positioned for the schedule.
