Job Description

Title :
Lunch Supervisor Primary Objective:
Provide assistance to all staff and students to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the building with an awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or general education diploma (GED) Works well with minimal supervision Able to effectively and efficiently prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing Friendly and professional attitude as well as discretion in matters relating to students, parents, staff members and office business matters Works well with others Computer skills necessary, including being proficient in Microsoft Office, if assigned to computer lab Adept at learning and using other related software and web-based programs, if assigned to computer lab Accountable to:
Principal, Assistant Principal Evaluation:
Per MCSA Negotiated Agreement Essential Job Functions:
Supervise bus riders and walkers at arrival and dismissal Supervise students during lunch and/or recess Assist office staff with projects when requested Report behavioral infractions to the administration Provide supervision and assistance to visitors of the building when needed Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bending, carrying, climbing, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, sitting, standing, and walking Must be able to occasionally lift, move, or push items of 30 lbs.
Working Conditions:
Includes extremes of temperature and humidity Hazards include stairs and communicable diseases
Terms of Employment:
171 days (includes 4 paid holidays), Up to 2.5 hours per day
