Location:
Mission, KS Pay $17.00 per hour School Crossing Guards work before and after school, Monday through Friday, following the local school calendar. Typical schedules are 2 per day. Candidates working both assigned shifts receive a total daily earnings of $34.00. Position Overview Looking for part-time work that fits around the school calendar? School Crossing Guards help students travel safely to and from school while enjoying a consistent weekday schedule with weekends, school holidays, and summer breaks off. What You'll Do Assist students and pedestrians at designated crossings Help maintain safe traffic flow near schools Remain alert to changing traffic conditions Communicate professionally with students, parents, school staff, and drivers Follow all company safety procedures Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Reliable and punctual Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Able to stand during scheduled shifts Strong communication and observation skills Applicants living in or near Mission may be better suited for the scheduled shift times Schedule Expectations This is a very part-time position with split shifts before and after school.
