Chelmsford Public Schools - Announcement of Vacancy for the 2026/2027 School Year The Chelmsford Public Schools is now accepting applications for the following vacancy. The District reserves the right to change this vacancy or not fill this vacancy based on further staffing changes, enrollment, or budget.

Lunch/ Recess Aide Location:
Parker Middle School Description:
To provide student supervision to maintain a well-organized, smoothly-functioning school environment.
  • Build a good rapport with students
  • Provide supervision of students in cafeteria and at recess
  • Provide clerical support when needed
  • Assist with miscellaneous tasks as needed Reports to: School Principal Hours per week: 15 hours per week, 3 hours per day Monday-Friday. Schedule may vary.
  • High School Diploma
  • Experience working with children preferred.
  • Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities at the middle school level.
  • Experience working with age appropriate students in a school setting.
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as may be found appropriate and acceptable.
  • Must work well as a member of a team
  • Ability to build relationships with student and provide ongoing support and direction.
