Chelmsford Public Schools - Announcement of Vacancy for the 2026- 2027 School Year The Chelmsford Public Schools is now accepting applications for the following anticipated vacancy. School Principal Description of Position:
To provide student supervision to maintain a well-organized, smoothly-functioning school environment. Duties include supervising students during recess and lunch periods. The successful candidate will be able to build a good rapport with students, provide supervision of students in cafeteria and at recess, provide clerical support when needed, and assist with miscellaneous tasks as needed.
Work Days:
181-day work year Hours per week: 15 hours per week 3 hours/day during lunch shifts
  • Citizenship, residency or work visa required
  • High School Diploma
  • Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities at the elementary level.
  • Experience working with students in a school setting preferred.
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications may be found appropriate and acceptable.
