Byam Elementary School Reports to:School Principal Description of Position:
To provide student supervision to maintain a well-organized, smoothly-functioning school environment. Duties include supervising students during recess and lunch periods. The successful candidate will be able to build a good rapport with students, provide supervision of students in cafeteria and at recess, provide clerical support when needed, and assist with miscellaneous tasks as needed.Work Days:
181-day work year Hours per week: 15 hours per week 3 hours/day during lunch shifts- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
- High School Diploma
- Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities at the elementary level.
- Experience working with students in a school setting preferred.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications may be found appropriate and acceptable.
