Job Description
Needham Public Schools is an inclusive, dynamic, and multicultural community seeking an energetic and skilled part-time Office/Recess Aide to join our team. The part-time office aide will also support students at lunch, recess and dismissal. Essential Job Responsibilities
Duties will include: Complete light office work Supervise students at lunch and recess, with support from additional staff member
Supervise afternoon student departures
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Ability to carry out verbal and written instructions
Understanding of elementary-aged children
Ability to make decisions at the moment to ensure the safety of all students
Ability to establish a supportive environment for all students
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple team members
Ability to maintain confidential information regarding students and families
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to stand and work both indoors and outdoors for multiple hours
Interest in and appreciation for elementary school students Hours
10:45am-3:15pm (4.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday); months of September and October.

Hourly Rate range:
AR1 $21.02-$23.30 (SY26 rate)
Qualifications
Experience working with children in active settings is a plus.
