In this dynamic position, you will supervise students during daily bus routes, enforce safety protocols, and support students with diverse needs. Your energetic and attentive approach will foster a secure environment while promoting respectful behavior and adherence to school policies. Duties Supervise students during transportation to ensure their safety and well-being throughout the bus ride. Enforce school policies and transportation safety regulations consistently and fairly. Assist students with special needs or disabilities, supporting their physical and behavioral requirements during transit. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding student behavior or concerns. Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive conduct and resolve conflicts calmly and effectively. Conduct routine safety checks of the bus before and after routes, including evacuation procedures and emergency equipment inspection. Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies, including administering first aid or CPR when necessary, following established protocols. Requirements No Criminal Background No drugs Knowledge of special education needs, behavior management techniques, and conflict resolution is essential Familiarity with school policies, safety regulations, evacuation procedures, and handling confidential information is crucial. Ability to support students with physical disabilities or special education needs compassionately and professionally. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with students, parents, teachers, and emergency responders. Demonstrated ability to manage student discipline positively while maintaining a safe environment on the bus.
