Recess Aide Requirements of Daytime School Support:

No Experience, No Problem! Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 25 pounds Ability to read and comprehend instructions and safety related materials Ability to retain proper student & staff boundaries This position requires completely clean criminal history with no felony convictions. Applicants will be required to undergo fingerprint background check.

Recess Aide Responsibilities:

These hours are performed during school hours!! Automatic $0.50 increase after 60 days. Monitor and supervise student activities as necessary during the times requested, such as arrival and dismissal times Maintain a safe environment by monitoring student interactions and behaviors Reports inappropriate student behavior to staff members Reports suspicious or strange behaviors from anyone in the area Critical role as an extra set of eyes on the playground during student recess
