Job Title:
Safety and Security Support -
High School Summary:
The position assists with safety procedures, building security, emergency preparedness, and incident response while building positive relationships and supporting a culture of safety and student well-being.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitor traffic entering and exiting the Student Parking Lot Lock and unlock the gate Be a visible and verbal authority figure in the Student Parking Lot. Patrol the parking lot during school hours, checking vehicles for parking permits, improper parking, and suspicious activity Communicate daily with the main office staff and students. Enforce school rules in the student handbook, and report violations to the Principal or Dean of Students. Look out for and report altercations, speeders, reckless drivers, and other inappropriate behavior Check Student IDs during the lunches. Only Junior and Senior students who show their student ID can leave campus for lunch. Assist in the maintenance of the Student Parking Lot, especially during the winter months. Work with administration on safety projects as assigned.
