$15.09/hour Optional summer camp hours
Summary:
The Part-Time Flyers Club Aide supports the daily operation of the before and after school program by assisting staff in providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for all participants. This position works under the direction of the Site Supervisor, Full-Time Lead, and Part-Time Lead to help facilitate activities, support positive behavior, and supervise children as needed to contribute to a positive program experience for children and families.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support a safe, welcoming, and positive environment for children. Assist staff with supervision of children during activities, transitions, indoor and outdoor play, and enrichment experiences. Participate in group activities, games, arts and crafts, and structured play as directed by program staff. Help reinforce positive behavior expectations and follow guidance from Site Supervisor, Full-Time Lead, and Part-Time Lead. Report safety concerns, behavioral issues, or incidents promptly to supervising staff. Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized program environment. Follow all program routines, schedules, and directions provided by supervisory staff. Communicate appropriately and respectfully with children, staff, and school personnel. Maintain confidentiality in accordance with district policies and procedures. Actively supervise and engage with children while on duty. Attend required training and follow all Flyers Club policies and procedures. Perform duties both indoors and outdoors as assigned. Complete other duties as assigned to support Flyers Club operations.
