Job Description

DUTIES:
Monitoring hallways and cafeteria providing supervision of students Provide escorts from classes at the request of administration Gather work for students from teachers Encourage positive behavior while quickly addressing negative behaviors Clean & wash hallway spills and sweep floors as needed Communicate regularly with other monitors/staff Ensure a safe and orderly environment Use of 2-way radio for communication with office and administrators Other duties as assigned by building administrators
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Must have high school diploma or equivalent Prospective employees must receive state and federal clearance based on a fingerprint-supported criminal history background check. Details are available from the district personnel office. Good verbal communication skills Ability to interact positively with faculty, staff and students on a daily basis
