Position Title School Monitor, Cafeteria, Part-Time Required Application Type Teacher / Admin Salary/Pay Scale $18.50/hour per WNIEA contract of agreement Job Description Part-Time School Monitor — Middle School Cafeteria 10-Month position (2.5 Hours/day, 12.5 hours/week)
DUTIES:
Assists teachers in supervising recreation, lunch periods, study halls. May guide children safely across streets and intersections. Maintains order in gymnasiums and cafeterias. Oversees students passing between classes and in locker rooms and on premises before and after school; May help children in lower grades with wearing apparel. May monitor school entrances using video system; May issue visitor badges using ID scanner system; May perform simple clerical duties under close supervision. May render elementary first aid treatment; May perform minor cafeteria clean-up, such as wiping off dining tables and chairs Other duties as assigned by Building principal or Superintendent of Schools
SALARY:

QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience with children is preferable All school monitors are required to pass a background check per New York State Education Law. Physical condition commensurate with the position. Application Procedure
