Job Overview 3D Machine Company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Aerospace Quality Documentation Specialist to prepare, review, and maintain the documentation required for shipment of precision-machined aerospace components. This position is responsible for ensuring that every shipment has a complete, accurate, and traceable documentation package that meets customer requirements and our AS9100 Quality Management System. The ideal candidate has previous experience in an aerospace, defense, precision machining, or AS9100 manufacturing environment and understands the importance of accuracy, traceability, revision control, and customer-specific quality requirements. Duties Create and assemble complete customer shipping documentation packages Prepare and review Certificates of Conformance and Packing List Review travelers and customer purchase orders for required documentation Verify that all required documentation is complete prior to shipment Collect and verify raw material certifications, outside processing certifications , including plating, anodizing, heat treatment, coating, and other special processes Compile inspection reports, test reports, and other required quality records Ensure proper part number, revision, purchase order, quantity, serial number, lot number, and traceability information is included in documentation Prepare customer-specific quality forms and documentation Maintain accurate electronic and hard-copy quality records Verify documentation against customer purchase orders, drawings, specifications, and internal requirements Work closely with Inspection, Engineering, Purchasing, Shipping, and Production to obtain missing documentation and resolve discrepancies Ensure shipping packages are complete and accurate before product is released for shipment Support internal and customer by retrieving and organizing requested documentation Complete First Article Inspection documentation and

packages Maintain confidentiality and proper control of customer and ITAR-related documentation

Requirements Required:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills Ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PDF documents Ability to review purchase orders, certifications, specifications, and manufacturing documentation Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and follow documentation requirements precisely

Preferred:

2+ years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing documentation Experience working in an AS9100-certified aerospace manufacturing environment Experience preparing Certificates of Conformance and customer shipping packages Experience reviewing material certifications and outside processing certifications Familiarity with AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) Experience with ERP system; Job Boss experience is a plus Experience working in a precision CNC machining environment Understanding of document revision control and product traceability We are looking for someone who is extremely detail-oriented and takes ownership of their work. This person must understand that aerospace documentation is just as important as the product itself. The successful candidate will be able to review a job from a documentation standpoint, identify missing or incorrect information, communicate with the appropriate department, and ensure the final customer documentation package is accurate and complete before shipment.

Pay:

$26.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
