Document Specialist Location:
Fresno, CA (Onsite)
Salary:
$41,600 – $47,840 DOE This established agricultural lending and financial services organization plays a vital role in supporting businesses and communities throughout the Central Valley. As lending activity continues and key team members transition through leave and retirement planning, the team is looking for additional support to help keep critical loan documentation moving through the process efficiently and accurately. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with documents, tracking details, and coordinating information across multiple teams. Accuracy, organization, and proactive communication are essential to success in this role. The Opportunity This project-based assignment will support a busy lending operations team by ensuring loan files are complete, organized, and ready for review. Working closely with appraisal, operations, and credit departments, you'll take ownership of document preparation and file maintenance while helping move loans through the approval process. The right candidate will be comfortable working independently, following established procedures, and taking initiative when information is missing or additional follow-up is needed. Individuals with experience in mortgage processing, title work, property documentation, lending operations, or document control environments will find their skills highly transferable. What You'll Do
  • Process loan-related documentation and maintain accurate electronic records throughout the lending process
  • Review files for completeness and follow up with internal stakeholders to obtain missing documentation
  • Coordinate document collection between departments to ensure files move efficiently to the credit team
  • Scan, upload, organize, and maintain high volumes of electronic documents and supporting records
  • Update databases and perform detailed data entry while ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of experience in document management, administrative support, loan processing, mortgage operations, title services, or a related field
  • Strong data entry, research, and document control skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficiency with document management systems, Microsoft Teams, email platforms, and general business software
  • Experience working with mortgage documents, title reports, property records, lending documentation, or financial services processes is preferred Why This Role Stands Out
