Document Control Specialist at Ultimate Staffing Services Document Control Specialist at Ultimate Staffing Services in Madera, California Posted in 1 day ago. $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Document Control Specialist Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Document Control Specialist to join a dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance and efficiency within the organization, particularly in relation to supplier documentation and regulatory standards.
Location:
Madera, CA Responsibilities:
Supplier Verification:
Monitoring, tracking, and auditing documentation receipt from suppliers.
Risk Assessment:
Performing risk assessments on all products purchased to identify any potential hazards.
Corrective Actions:
Request and monitor corrective actions when issues are found with a supplier.
Documentation and Records:
Ensure comprehensive records are kept for the FSVP and domestic vendors through utilization of TraceGains and other programs as applicable.
Customer Requests:
Review, completion, and submission of document packets to support Customer requests.
Regulatory Knowledge:
Keeping up to date on regulatory changes applicable to operations.
Auditing:
Perform internal and at times external audits of vendors/co-packers as necessary and provide assistance to management during company audits.
Training:
Provide training to internal teams on food safety and FSVP procedures as necessary to ensure sourcing and purchasing is familiar with changing requirements.
Support:
Collaborate with purchasing and R D regarding sourcing and validation of ingredients/suppliers for new product innovations. All other tasks as management requests.
Qualifications and Position Requirements:
Food Science Degree or equivalent industry experience Auditing/Inspection Experience Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills An ability to multitask and deal with changing priorities Strong project management and organizational skills Computer literacy A logical and investigative mind

Monday - Friday, 1st
Shift Benefits:
The position offers competitive pay with a salary range of $60,000 to $80,000 per year.
