Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Document Control & Digitization Specialist for a contract role in Victorville, CA. This role will focus on reformatting existing Word documents to align with the company's new branding standards following the organization's rebrand, as well as converting physical records into digital files and maintaining organized document repositories. The ideal candidate is an advanced Microsoft Word user who can work independently with minimal supervision, has exceptional attention to detail, and is comfortable managing large volumes of documentation.
Pay:
$30/hour up to $37/hour depending on experience

Document Control & Digital Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Review and update existing documentation to reflect the organization's branding standards.
  • Recreate and reformat documents using standardized templates and formatting guidelines.
  • Ensure consistency across all company documentation.
  • Convert legacy documents into approved document formats.
  • Retrieve and organize physical files from filing cabinets and storage locations.
  • Scan hard-copy documents and convert them into digital formats.
  • Apply standardized file naming conventions. Required Skills & Experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word.
  • Experience creating, formatting, editing, and standardizing professional documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities without close supervision.
  • Experience scanning, digitizing, and electronically filing documents.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint or similar document management systems.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
