Job Description

This Opportunity WSP is seeking a Document Control Lead to join our Project Controls team in Orlando. This position is full time onsite role.
Your Impact Duties and Responsibilities:
Influence the narrative by understanding what needs to be done to support the project vision and initiatives Experience in implementation of document management systems for large/mega programs in design/construction Experience setting up document management systems and managing from inception, through duration to final completion and closeout of project Monitor and Manage the Electronic Document Management System(s) Develop and administer the project "Document Management Plan" Develop and administer Document Control Procedures and Training Guidelines Working knowledge and experience in SharePoint, Procore, Bluebeam software or equivalent. Work with Project Information Management Systems Team for access, security and troubleshooting. Knowledge of document management process and procedures and systems Manage and Work with Document Control Team Members. Perform reoccurring training on Document Management Requirements and EDMS use Implement efficient work-flow process, initiate and track document reviews Retrieve files Upload / Download files from EDMS, Manage Document Naming, Convention, numbering, assigning, distribution. Process Incoming/Outgoing Transmittals and documentation Initiate and track reviews through Bluebeam Sessions Ensure that electronic record files as required are maintained in good order to comply with QA and contractual requirements Optimize Document Control productivity, efficiency, and service quality across all departments. Work with project department leads to ensure timely processing of documentation along with any future updates Produce progress reports as required
Who You Are Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent Minimum 7-10 years of Document Control experience working on design, construction or similar projects including start-up and closeout processes. Experience in implementing document management systems and procedures for large and mega programs in construction. Working knowledge and experience of SharePoint, e-Builder, Aconex, Unifier, Procore, Bluebeam or equivalent. Advanced computer and word processing skills using MS Office applications including SharePoint Experience supervising and leading Document Control Team Members Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Ability to coordinate several high-priority deadlines simultaneously Maintain confidentiality at all times Excellent written and verbal communication skills Technical knowledge of industry documents, records and data management systems Demonstrate experience with typical Microsoft office applications, such as Word, Power Point, Excel and Visio Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
