PURPOSE/FUNCTION/SUMMARY

(TRAINING NEEDS) Essential job responsibilities are to aid the engineering department with data entry, organizational tasks, interdepartmental communications, gathering data for generating and generating technical manuals for equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS BOM

&

Data Management:

Accurately enter unique part numbers, hardware specifications, and associated Bills of Materials into the Lotus/IBM (MRP), OpenPro databases to facilitate precise material costing and labor hour tracking.

MRP System Operations:

Manage and update the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system to ensure seamless integration between engineering designs and production requirements.

Document Control & ECNs:

Maintain rigorous engineering documentation control, including Engineering Change Notices (ECN), ensuring the accuracy and synchronization of drawings, Bills of Materials (BOM), and technical data sheets.

Technical Authoring:

Develop, format, and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including installation instructions and user manuals, utilizing Adobe Acrobat/InDesign and Microsoft Word.

Engineering Support:

Provide support for Engineering and other departments, including plotting and printing of manuals and large-format drawings, coordinating digital distribution, and managing the archiving of technical prints and project files. Supports Engineers and promotes a team environment. All other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Education/Training:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience/Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office software. Experience in MRP is a plus. Strong communication skills, highly organized, detail oriented, good time management, and interpersonal skills are needed. Please email your resume to
