Job Summary The Inspection Documentation Specialist II is responsible for ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance of inspection and quality documentation supporting aerospace and defense manufacturing operations. This position serves as a more experienced resource within the Quality department by independently reviewing complex documentation, interpreting customer and aerospace industry specifications and supporting QMS initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Create and maintain AS9102 First Article Inspection packages Balloon engineering drawings Review customer purchase orders and quality clauses Generate Certificates of Conformance Compile manufacturing and inspection data packages Ensure records meet customer retention requirements Maintain document control within the QMS Assist in the creation of QMS documents as needed Support internal, customer, and registrar audits as needed Maintain internal nonconformance creation and completion Review internal testing data for completion and acceptance prior to product shipping Other duties as assigned Education /
Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred Previous manufacturing or machine shop experience preferred but not required Experience with document control systems Working knowledge of aerospace specifications, customer requirements and internal quality documentation Qualifications /
Skills:
Strong understanding of AS9102 requirements Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T Strong attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems Ability to follow directions and procedures Must possess active listening skills Must be able to effectively communicate; oral and written Physical Requirements /
Work Environment:

Pay:
