Job Description
Are you someone who notices the little things, takes pride in getting the details right, and enjoys organized, hands-on work? We're looking for a Records Processing Specialist to join our Records Management Center (RMC) team. In this role, you will help turn physical records into accurate, high-quality digital files for our customers. From preparing and scanning documents to reviewing finished files for accuracy, you will play an important part in making sure every project is completed with care. What You'll Do Prepare documents for scanning by organizing materials and removing staples, clips, and bindings Scan and digitize a variety of records, documents, photos, and other materials. Review digital files to make sure they are clear, complete, organized, and accurate. Name, organize, and prepare electronic files for customer delivery. Complete document redaction when required, following established procedures. Handle confidential customer information with care and discretion. Help maintain scanning equipment and keep your workspace organized. Support other Records Center activities and projects as needed. Work with the team to meet deadlines while maintaining high quality standards. Who You Are Have strong attention to detail and take pride in accurate work. Are comfortable working with computers and learning new technology. Can stay focused and consistent while working through detailed projects. Are dependable, organized, and able to follow established processes. Understand the importance of confidentiality when handling customer information. Are comfortable adjusting priorities when projects or customer needs change. Enjoy being part of a team while also being able to work independently. Previous document scanning or records management experience is helpful, but not required. We are happy to train someone who brings the right attitude, reliability, and attention to detail.
