Full Job Description Engineering Document Management Clerk Job Description:
Common Ground Industries (CGI) Inc. is looking for a full-time, onsite engineering document management clerk to provide support to our team. This person will be responsible for providing document management and administrative assistance to support our project team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This is an important role, as it is often the outward facing point of contact between CGI and its clients for important document transfers. Document Management- Understanding of different engineering document types including civil, structural, piping, and process documents.
- Transmitting engineering documents and drawing packages electronically.
- Document and drawing receipt and distribution.
- Project document archive management.
- Managing document consistency across multiple platforms.
- Project document closure assistance.
- Performing other duties as assigned. Administrative Assistance
- Answering incoming phone calls, determining purpose of callers, and forwarding calls to appropriate personnel.
- Providing general administrative support to coworkers.
- Ordering, receiving, organizing, and maintaining office supplies.
- Coordinating upkeep and replacement of PPE supplies.
- Monitoring and coordinating annual certifications and safety training for the staff.
- Running miscellaneous office errands.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven skills and experience with office procedures.
- Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle details accurately and maintain confidentiality of CGI and its clients.
- Working knowledge of standard office equipment (PC, printers/copiers, etc.)
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) are required.
- Good organizational skills and time management.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
