Job Title:
Document Controller Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Controller to support engineering and construction projects through effective document management and turnover package coordination. The ideal candidate will have experience working within CAPEX projects, managing engineering and construction documentation, and ensuring the accurate preparation and completion of turnover packages. Responsibilities Manage, track, and maintain engineering, construction, and project documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure document control processes comply with project and quality requirements. Coordinate the collection, review, and organization of documentation for turnover and project closeout packages. Support CAPEX projects by maintaining document accuracy, version control, and distribution. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely document submission and approval. Essential Skills Experience as a Document Controller within engineering, construction, or industrial project environments. Knowledge of CAPEX project documentation and experience in preparing and managing turnover packages and project closeout documentation. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Proficiency with document management systems and Microsoft Office. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with GMP and previous regulated environments. CapEx - capital expansion project experience. Turnover Packages - experience working with documents turned over from the construction firm to the owner. Proficiency with Procore. Work Environment This position is on-site at a CAPEX project location, with normal working hours. The role is critical to ensuring project documentation is complete, accurate, and readily available to support successful project execution and handover. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Clayton, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $58.52 - $58.52/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
