PRIMARY PURPOSE
The primary purpose of this position is to assure quality of design-build projects by assembling documentation, writing job aids and procedures, and verifying quality of fabricated systems.
JOB DUTIES
Create turn-over-packages (TOP) to include all documentation, operation and maintenance manuals, specifications, signoffs, and fabrication-produced records associated with each completed system of the project. Visit customer job site(s) to provide documentation support of projects such as weld maps and weld logs. Assemble TOPs based on established MGN procedures or specifications produced by customers for specific jobs. Retain records of personnel and equipment certifications. Retain project documents for reference after project completion. Write internal processes and procedures to ensure the quality of project work. Audit work for adherence to quality procedures. Identify and facilitate corrective action and preventative action plans on quality gaps. Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) for fabrication projects. Assist in organizing and verifying project equipment and materials. Perform visual inspection of materials and welds as appropriate for the project.
REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS
Associate's degree or equivalent required. 3-5 years documentation management or quality experience preferred. Strong MS Office Skills required. Document/record management system experience preferred. Ability to identify and seek needed information/research skills. Ability to read Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and isometric drawings preferred. Familiarity or willingness to learn about Bioprocessing Equipment (BPE), 3-A, and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) standards especially as it pertains to documentation. Familiarity or willingness to learn how to perform visual weld inspections. M. G.
