Job Description
Documentation Specialist will assist in the production of System Support Directives, handbooks, notices, and other documentation required to support the NAS and NAS support systems. Will need to work with automation systems used for numbering, recording, documenting, tracking and reporting NAS system status and procedures. Will support data interchange between systems, information sharing, and security techniques for users operating workstation and LAN systems. Also will need to be able to develop, write, and edit technical material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related highly technical and administrative publications concerned with work methods and procedures. Will need to be able to observe production, developmental, and experimental activities to determine operating procedure and detail. May need to write articles, and public/employee relation releases. May need to edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by other writers.
