Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Picker/Packer with strong Hazardous Materials Documentation expertise for a stable, long-term opportunity with a well-established manufacturer in Ewing, NJ. This is not a standard warehouse role. You will be responsible for the accurate picking, packing, and shipping of industrial chemical cleaning solutions, with a heavy emphasis on regulated hazmat documentation and compliance .
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to pick tickets and packing slips Safely receive, inspect, verify, and store hazardous chemical products Complete all shipping and receiving documentation with high accuracy Review Safety Data Sheets (SDS), verify GHS labels/markings, and properly complete hazmat sections on Bills of Lading (BOL) and Hazmat Shipping Papers Ensure compliance with DOT regulations for hazardous materials shipments Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment (5S standards) Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks as needed
Required Qualifications:
Warehouse experience with a strong focus on hazardous materials or chemical distribution Proven experience completing regulated documentation (SDS, BOL, GHS labeling, Hazmat Shipping Papers) Forklift certification (or ability to become certified quickly) Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety/compliance Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience at chemical distributors, industrial supply companies, or manufacturers (Grainger, Univar, Brenntag, etc. is a big plus) DOT Hazmat training or
OSHA 10/30
Experience with inventory systems, RF scanners, and shipping platforms
Pay:

License/Certification:
DOT Medical Card? (Preferred)
