Job Description

Overview As our Document Control Specialist, you will be the final gatekeeper for all technical documentation, ensuring every manual, blueprint, and safety record is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with industry standards. You'll also pull double duty by managing our physical gear inspections—ensuring our equipment is as reliable as our paperwork.
Key Responsibilities Document Governance:
Manage the full lifecycle of QA/QC documentation, including SOPs, test reports, and compliance certificates. Review and audit technical documents for accuracy and consistency before they hit the floor.
Gear & Equipment Audit:
Conduct methodical physical inspections and inventory checks of specialized gear to ensure safety and operational readiness.
Version Control:
Ensure the right people have the right version of the right document at all times—zero exceptions.
Process Improvement:
Partner with engineering and production teams to streamline documentation workflows in a 300+ headcount environment.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in document control Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and quick to learn new programs Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments An understanding that in QA/QC, documentation is a legal and safety requirement, and you treat it with the appropriate gravity.
