Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The document control lead is responsible for leading a team of Document Control Specialists, to manage and maintain an organization's documents, ensuring they are accurate, compliant, and accessible.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Reviews and approves Material Tests Reports (MTR's) for accuracy and conformance to contractual requirements. Supports in the preparation of contractually required Data Books and Dossiers. Ability to maintain Quality Records for the Quality Control and Quality Assurance functions in accordance with established ISO 9001document control and retention policies. Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department. Manage the entire document lifecycle, including the routing, review, approval, distribution, and archiving of controlled documents. Perform internal audits to ensure compliance with quality systems and standards, and support external audits by preparing and organizing documentation. Track non-compliance and assist in the implementation and verification of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).

REQUIREMENTS
(KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES) Personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. Understanding of quality management principles and standards, such as
ISO 9001.
Meticulous and detail-oriented, with the ability to interpret complex instructions and verify document accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with different teams.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
