Summary:
AS THE CLINICAL DOCUMENTATION SPECIALIST
(CDS), YOU'LL
BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CONCURRENTLY REVIEWING PATIENT MEDICAL RECORDS TO FACILITATE THE ACCURATE REPRESENTATION OF THE SEVERITY OF ILLNESS. THIS INVOLVES EXTENSIVE RECORD REVIEW, AND INTERACTION WITH PHYSICIANS, HIM PROFESSIONALS AND NURSING STAFF. ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IN TEAM MEETINGS AND EDUCATION OF STAFF IN THE COMPLIANT DOCUMENTATION MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
® (CDMP)

QUALIFICATIONS
HAVE
BACHELOR DEGREE IN HEALTHCARE RELATED FIELD REQUIRED HAVE 3 YEARS CURRENT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED HAVE PREVIOUS CDS BACKGROUND PREFERRED HAVE ALL RELATED LICENSURES MUST BE CURRENT, ACTIVE AND IN GOOD STANDING IN THE STATE OF PENNSYLVANIA HAVE HEALTHCARE PROVIDER AT HIRE HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF REGULATORY GUIDELINES OF MEDICARE PART A WHAT WE OFFER
