Role Description The Document Control Clerk is a full-time remote role responsible for organizing, maintaining, and updating all documentation related to productions, rehearsals, events, and internal operations. Daily tasks include managing digital and physical records, ensuring accurate version control, and maintaining standardized filing systems. The role involves tracking scripts, production notes, permissions, and official communications, while ensuring that documents are easily accessible to authorized members. The Clerk will collaborate with society leadership and creative teams to distribute relevant documents, support quality control of records, and maintain confidentiality where required. Regular communication with team members, timely updates, and adherence to documentation procedures are essential to this role. Qualifications Strong skills in Documentation and Document Management to create, organize, and maintain accurate records. Experience in Records Management to ensure proper retention, archiving, and retrieval of information. Ability to apply Quality Control practices to verify completeness, consistency, and accuracy of documents. Effective Communication skills to collaborate with creative and administrative teams and share information clearly. Comfort with digital tools and basic proficiency in office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, cloud storage). Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Prior experience in administrative, documentation, or clerical roles is beneficial; familiarity with performing arts or student societies is a plus. Ability to work independently in a remote environment and maintain reliable internet connectivity.
