This position is responsible for maintaining accurate and organized records, ensuring information is readily accessible, and supporting compliance with established records management policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience working with both electronic and physical records in a professional, government, healthcare, or administrative environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Manage, organize, maintain, and track electronic and physical records. Ensure records are accurately filed, indexed, and readily retrievable. Maintain records in accordance with established retention and disposition requirements. Review records for completeness, accuracy, and proper documentation. Perform data entry and maintain records management databases and tracking systems. Support document control and version management. Identify missing, incomplete, or improperly maintained records and coordinate corrections. Assist with records audits, inventories, and reporting requirements. Protect sensitive and confidential information in accordance with applicable policies. Prepare reports and status updates related to records management activities. Coordinate with internal personnel to ensure consistent records management practices. Perform other administrative and records-related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in records management, document control, information management, or a related field. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Experience working with electronic document management systems and databases. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve records-related issues. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting a federal government, DoD, healthcare, or other regulated organization. Experience with records retention and disposition requirements. Certified Records Manager (CRM) or related certification. Experience with electronic records management or document management systems.
