Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented QMS Document Control Associate to support our Quality Management System (QMS) within a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for maintaining controlled documentation, ensuring accurate revision management, supporting quality and compliance activities, and helping ensure employees have access to current and approved procedures and records. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with electronic document systems, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Key Responsibilities Maintain and control QMS documents, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, forms, policies, specifications, and quality records. Process new documents, revisions, approvals, releases, and obsolete documents according to established document control procedures. Ensure only current and approved versions of controlled documents are available for use. Maintain accurate document revision histories, approval records, and distribution records. Support document routing and approval workflows within the electronic Quality Management System (eQMS) or document management system. Review documents for proper formatting, numbering, signatures, revision levels, and required approvals. Assist departments with document creation, revisions, and document control requirements. Maintain organized electronic and physical quality records in accordance with established retention requirements. Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits by retrieving requested documents and records. Assist with QMS compliance activities, corrective actions, change controls, training records, and other quality-related documentation as needed. Track outstanding document approvals and follow up with appropriate personnel to ensure timely completion. Protect confidential and proprietary company information. Identify documentation discrepancies and work with Quality and Operations teams to resolve issues. Follow all company quality, safety, and environmental policies and procedures. Perform additional Quality Assurance and document control duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or additional education preferred. Previous experience in document control, quality assurance, quality systems, manufacturing, or administrative support preferred. Experience working in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred. Solar, renewable energy, automotive, electronics, or other highly regulated manufacturing experience is a plus. Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and controlled documentation preferred. Experience with electronic document management or eQMS systems is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams . Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills. Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and other departments.
