Onsite Job Description The Engineering Change Notice (ECN) Analyst is responsible for supporting the implementation, administration, and maintenance of the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process. This role facilitates the documentation, tracking, and communication of engineering changes associated with product improvements, repairs, and new product development. The ECN Analyst I works closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Field Operations, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams to ensure accurate change control, documentation compliance, and timely processing of engineering changes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Administer and maintain the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) system and part registration process
Process and track engineering change requests through approval and implementation workflows.
Monitor ECN progress, ensuring records are accurate, complete, and updated in applicable systems.
Ensure compliance with internal document control procedures and change management requirements.
Generate and distribute reports related to ECN status, cycle times, approvals, implementation progress, and compliance metrics.
Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities within engineering change management and document control procedures.
Communicate change status and implementation requirements to affected departments. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to collaborate across multiple functional teams and organizational levels.
Familiarity with Engineering Change Notice (ECN), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), or document control systems.
Basic understanding of engineering documentation, revision control, and change management practices.
Knowledge of manufacturing, hardware, or semiconductor product development processes preferred.
Ability to analyze information, identify discrepancies, and resolve documentation issues.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Other assigned duties Education
Bachelor's Degree Experience
0-3 years of experience, no prior professional experience required, strong internship desired. Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to SAP S4 ERP, SharePoint, document control, or workflow management systems.
Familiarity with semiconductor, electronics, manufacturing, or technology industries.
